Guatapé Colombia 6/2/-6/5/19
Guatape is a quaint, gorgeous, and, peaceful lakeside town just an hour and a half outside of Medellin, Colombia. This spot is one of the most colorful towns in Colombia and is known for the infamous Penol rock, which can be climbed 740 steps to the top with magnificent views of Laguna de Guatape and its many islands. Guatape has an array of activities from hang gliding, water sports, boat and motor taxi tours, hiking trails, or simply wandering the colorful streets. With a small town vibe the locals are welcoming and friendly and the food amazing, the local specialty being trout. Accommodations are many from affordable hostels to gorgeous lakeside hotels. Guatape is truly special tone that a trip to Colombia wouldn’t be complete without.
Along with this, on the free day in Gutape you can choose to rent a boat on the lake, go hiking in the country side, hang glide, explore the lake by kayak, go flyboarding, rent jet skis, paraglide, take a boat ride and dinner cruise around Lake, standup paddleboard, take a yoga class on the lake at sunset, horseback riding, rent motorbikes, helitours, day trip to San Rafael, tour and paintballing at pablo escobar's mansion, and eat Guatape's local specialty trout (trucha.)

The community of locals is truly special, as people who embrace life with a sense of gratitude and kindness having lived for years under suppression and fear. Jardin Colombia 6/9/19-6/12/19
Jardin Colombia is a beautiful pueblo in Colombia and has virtually remained unchanged for almost a century, where you can truly get a feel for the local lifestyle. Located in the heart of the Andes Mountains, Jardin is three hours south of Medellin and is known for its coffee plantations, paso fino horses, and breathtaking beauty. A visit to Jardin would not be complete without visiting one of many coffee Plantations on horseback, hiking to La Cueva del Esplendor, a unique cave and waterfall, and sipping coffee in the most beautiful plaza in Colombia. As a town with a true Colombian charm, Jardin is a must visit for anyone who loves coffee, nature, and pure and simple living.
